Section 703.110. RESTRICTIONS ON NUMBER OF LICENSES is hereby amended to read as <br />follows: <br />703.110. RESTRICTIONS ON NUMBER OF LICENSES. <br />(1) The number of"off-sale" licenses within the City shall not exceed three (3) until such <br />time as the population of the City reaches twenty thousand (20,000) residents. At such time one (1) <br />additional "off -sale" license shall become available. <br />(2) The number of "on sale" intoxicating liquor licenses issued in the City of Little, <br />Canada shall not exceed five (5), pla.; the tw (2) additio • "" iquor licensee <br />No more than five (5) on -sale intoxicating liquor licenses <br />shall be -issued and no more than one (1) twe-(2) "on -sale restaurant" intoxicating liquor licenses <br />shall be issued within the City_of Little Canada. It is hereby noted that State Statute allows the City <br />up to six (6) on -sale intoxicating liquor licenses, plus two (2) additional on -sale intoxicating liquor <br />licenses authorized by Chapter 240, 1987 Laws. State Statue also allows the City an unlimited <br />number of "on -sale restaurant" intoxicating liquor licenses. <br />(3) Ea) No more than three four-day, four three-day, six two-day, or twelve one -day <br />temporary licenses, in any combination not to exceed twelve days per year may be issued for the sale <br />of intoxicating liquor to any one organization or registered political committee, or for any one <br />Location, within a twelve-month period. <br />e •: <br />(b) No more than one temporary license may-brissued-fer• tk <br />Section 3. <br />This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and publication. <br />ATTEST: <br />Joel Hanson, Administrator <br />AYES: <br />NAYS: <br />Adopted this 24" day of September, 2014. <br />Bill Blesener, Mayor <br />4 <br />
