CITY OF LITTLE CANADA RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ELIMINATION OF A PARCEL FROM THE TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT 6-1 WITHIN THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA. WHEREAS, on October 10, 2011, the City of Little Canada (the "City") approved creation by the Tax Increment Financing District 6-1 (the "TIF District") as a Redevelopment District Project (the "Project"), by approval of a tax increment financing plan (the "TIF Plan) for the TIF District; and WHEREAS, under Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.176, subd. 4(e), an authority may modify the TIF Plan without the hearings and findings required for creation of a new district, if the only modification is to eliminate a parcel from the district, and the current net tax capacity of the parcel at least equals the original net tax capacity of the parcel; and WHEREAS, the following property, by property identification number, was included in the TIF District: 04-29-22-23-0070 referred to as the "Subject Parcel;" and WHEREAS, the Subject Parcel was created from a property division identified in Ramsey County Records as DD071443, and WHEREAS, the base net tax capacity of the Subject Parcel is less than the current net tax capacity, and WHEREAS, the City desires by this resolution to amend the TIF Plan to remove the Subject Parcel from the TIF District, thereby reducing the size thereof; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the board of commissioners of the EDA as follows: 1. The TIF Plan for TIF District 6-1 is hereby amended to remove the Subject Parcel. 2. City staff is authorized and directed to maintain a copy of this resolution with the records for the TIF District, and to send copies of this resolution to Ramsey County Property Records and Revenue in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.175, Subdivision 4, clause (e), and to the Minnesota Commissioner of Revenue and the State Auditor in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.175, 4a.
