This building was the location where your business Nova Auto at 200 Ryan Drive was
issued an Indoor Retail Sales License to operate out of. The building was a total loss and
deemed a Hazardous Structure by the Fire Marshal on November 12, 2014. As a result, this
building can no longer be occupied and therefore cannot be used as a place for operation of
indoor retail sales.
The zoning approval for your retail sales license was for indoor sales only. Without a building to
operate out of, the City of Little Canada will be revoking your license effective November 28,
2014. This revocation is based on the fact you can no longer meet the conditions for an indoor
retail sales license to comply with city ordinance. Below I have copied the city code with
regards to revocation of said license:
803.050. NOTICE OF REVOCATION. The Council may upon ten (10) days written notice, require the
licensee to show cause as to why his license should not be revoked if he fails to live up to the provisions of this
Chapter or to any special provisions required by the Council at the time of the issuance of the license. Upon failure
to show cause the licensee's rights may be terminated by the Council.
This letter shall serve as you official notice that you have 10 days from the date of this notice to
file a written appeal for the indoor retail sales license, If a written appeal is not submitted by
November 28th, the City of Little Canada will immediately send notification to the State Dealers
Division informing them of the revocation of said license. If you do file a notice of appeal, the
Council will schedule a hearing for you as soon as pratical to provide your reasoning as to why
the license should not be revoked.
7
