Hanson <br />TO: Mayor Keis and Members of the City Council <br />FROM: Joel Hanson, City Administrator <br />DATE: January 8, 2015 <br />RE: Call For Public Hearing — MnDot & Municipal Consent — MnPass Phase II <br />The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDot) is seeking municipal consent for Phase II of <br />the planned MnPass project. This phase runs for Little Canada Road to County Road J. We are <br />holding a workshop with Dale Gade, North Area Engineer, prior to Wednesday's meeting. Our <br />decision on municipal consent needs to occur by early March. Prior to granting consent, we need to <br />hold a public hearing with 30 days' notice. (See procedures attached). Therefore, staff <br />recommends we hold the hearing at our regularly scheduled meeting of February 26'1i.
