MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 28, 2015 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2015-1-23 — APPROVING A TEMPORARY <br />LIQUOR LICENSE FOR ST. JOHN'S CHURCH FOR THE <br />FEBRUARY 28, 2015 CANA DINNER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CHANGE The City Administrator reviewed two proposed change orders for the <br />ORDERS FOR City Center remodel project. These change orders include materials and <br />CITY CENTER labor for signage in the Council Chambers and media center, public <br />REMODEL restroom work and new counter case, and added stone work in the Council <br />Chambers. The Administrator reported that the first two items were part <br />of the approved work scope previously agreed to. The added stone work <br />results from an inaccurate measurement that left part of the walls behind <br />the council dais uncovered in the new stone backdrop. The total cost of <br />these change orders is $25,552. <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2015-1-29 — APPROVING CHANGE ORDERS IM <br />AND 1L FOR CITY CENTER REMODEL PROJECT TOTALLING <br />$25,552 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Torkelson. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />STRATEGIC The City Administrator reported that given Craig Rapp is not available <br />PLANNING on Thursday evenings to conduct a strategic planning session, he <br />SESSION suggested the two-part session be conducted over two Tuesdays (February <br />24th and March 10" ). Montour stated that he may be out-of-town and not <br />available on one of those dates. Torkelson suggested that he could make <br />Mondays work, if necessary. The Administrator suggested that he obtain <br />additional date options from Craig Rapp and indicated he would email this <br />information to the Council. <br />SCHOOL Torkelson reported that he was contacted relative to the City's interest in <br />SUPERIN- having a representative on the search team for the new Roseville Area <br />TENDENT School District Superintendent. McGraw indicated that given his teaching <br />SEARCH background and experience in two searched for superintendents in the <br />Richfield School District, he would be interested in serving in this <br />8 <br />
