Min. Reg. Meeting Oct. 13, 1976 Cont. Rose Mr. Valento introduced the following resolution and Place moved its adoption.. Extension From Savage RESOLUTION NO. 76-10-292 Lane To Parcel A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE FROM 53-55200- SECTION 501.030 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE 141-01 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A DWELLIN ON PARCEL NO. 53-55200-142-01 WHEREAS: Pursuant to resolution no. 76-9-212, adopted by the Counc: on Sept. -8-1976, the engineer presented a report,marked clerks exhibit no, 613, concerning improvement no. 7A-9, *he improvemei of Rose Place from Savage Lane to parcel•no. 53-55200-142-01 by watermain and road, And, WHEREAS: The engineer's report, marked clerk's exhibit no. 613, recommends that the city not make this improvement because it is not economically feasible to construct a road to serve one lot. And, WHEREAS: Rose Place from Savage Lane to parcel 53-55200-142-01 is an unimproved road and section 501.030 prohibits the issuance of a building permit for any structure abutting an unimproved road except under isolated instances. And, WHEREAS: Parcel no. 53-55200-142-01 is served by a sanitary and a watermain exists on Savage Lane 130 ft from the site. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA AS FOLLOWS: That a variance to Sec. 501.030 is hereby granted to the owner of parcel 53-55200-142-01 for the constructit of a dwelling on parcel 53-55200-142-01 provided that tha owner enters into an agreement with the City, stating the the owner will construct a driveway within the right -of -v of Rose Place, at his own cost,be responsible for his own maintenance and snow plowing. 2). The owner of parcel 53-55200-142-01 has permission to make a water connection on Savage Lane at his own expense and in leu of an assessment the following connection charge be paid. Code: 68- Frontage 100 ft x $ 6.50 pr foot = $ 650.00 a Regular connection charge $ 250 Total connection charge $ 900.L,. 3). Imp. 76-9 is hereby cancled.
