Hanson <br />After verbally agreeing to our offer, the attorney for the seller has raised the issue about our <br />ability to certify the costs for the McManus Housing project that went unpaid by the developer <br />who was also the holder of a contract for deed on the property. (See letter attached) Staff has <br />informed the attorney that if they want the costs absolved, we anticipate the City Council would <br />reduce our offer by a commensurate amount. The City Attorney's office concurs with this <br />approach. <br />Therefore, staff is recommending we go in to closed session to provide further clarification of <br />this issue and obtain your direction. <br />1 <br />
