Hanson <br />The State Legislature recently amended liquor laws to allow those restaurants, clubs, bowling <br />centers or hotels that hold an. On -Sale Intoxicating Liquor License and a Sunday License to serve <br />liquor with food on Sundays as early at 8 a.m, The previous law and the City's current Liquor <br />Ordinance allows these Sunday liquor sales to commence at 10 a.m. <br />While the City has not yet received any requests for the earlier liquor service on Sunday's, staff <br />feels such requests will be coming. Rather than delay the issue, it is staff' s recommendation that <br />the City's Liquor Code be amended to allow liquor service with food on Sundays commencing at <br />8 a.m, <br />
