MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 25, 2007 <br />FOK the 2006 estimated market value as determined by Ramsey County. <br />2825 COUNTRY The Administrator noted that Mr. Franklin has signed the purchase <br />DR1V.E agreement, but has since been married. Therefore, it will be necessary to <br />amend the agreement to include signature line for Mr. Franklin's spouse. <br />The City Administrator recommended approval of the purchase agreement <br />with that modification. <br />Mr. McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2007-7-186 -APPROVING THE PURCHASE <br />AGREEMENT FOR 2825 COUNTRYDRIVE AS RECOMMENDED <br />BY THE CITYADMINISTI2ATOR AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR AND CITYADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF <br />OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />SIGN The City Administrator reviewed his report dated July 20, 2007 relative <br />AGREEMENT - to signage at 2935 Country Drive. He noted that since the report was <br />2935 submitted to the Council, Mr. Biagini has indicated that it is not <br />COUNTRY feasible to mount nova brick on the posts for the U.S. Recordings sign. <br />DRIVE Mr. Biagini has indicated that he will landscape around the bottom of this <br />sign, however, to hide the concrete footings. <br />Blesener noted that when the City agreed to vacate a portion of the <br />Country Drive easement to facilitate Mr. Biagini's sign placement, Mr. <br />Biagini agreed to construct a monument sign. Blesener suggested that the <br />alternative would be to hold Mr. Biagini to that agreement. <br />Montour asked if the Building Official could look at the U.S. Recordings <br />sign and determine whether or not it is possible to install the nova brick. <br />Council discussed this option, and it was their consensus that Council <br />Member Allan, the City Administrator, and the Building Official meet <br />with Mr. Biagini to negotiate a better solution than what he has proposed. <br />This matter will be brought back for discussion at the next Council <br />meeting. <br />PARK The City Administrator reviewed the recommendation of the Parks & <br />DEDICATION Recreation Commission to increase park dedication fees to $2,600 for <br />FEE5 each dwelling unit up to structures of 8 units, and $1,950 per dwelling <br />units for multi-family structures of 9 units or more. The City <br />Adminish•ator noted the comparison information that was used in making <br />15 <br />
