MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />SEPTEMBER 12, 2007 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 12th day of <br />September, 2007 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: <br />Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Ms. Barbara Allan <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Michael McGraw <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />City Administrator <br />City Attorney <br />Cable TV Producer <br />City Clerk <br />Mr. Joel Hanson <br />Mr. Tom Sweeney <br />Ms. Vanessa Van Alstine <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />MINUTES Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2007-9-212 -APPROVING THE MINUTES OF <br />THEAUGUST 22, 2007 WORKSHOP COUNCIL MEETING AND <br />THE AUGUST 22, 2007 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS <br />SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />TEMPORARY Steve Bredesen, Albertville Lions Club, appeared before the Council <br />LIQUOR & requesting approval of a Temporary Liquor License and an Off Premise <br />OFF PREMISE Gambling License so that the Albertville Lions Club could conduct a <br />GAMBLING fundraiser benefit at the Painters and Allied Trades Union Hall on <br />LICENSE - Country Drive. Bredesen reported that the benefit is for Charlie Lanigan <br />ALBERTVILLE a 30-year employee of Quality Drywall Midwest and member of the Local <br />LIONS CLUB 61 Union. Bredesen reported that Mr. Lanigan's health is deteriorating <br /> quickly, and they need to hold the benefit within a short time frame. The <br /> benefit would be held on Tuesday, October 30"', from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and <br /> will consist of a spaghetti dinner/raffle. <br />
