LTS~ PERR'II'~' ~Q~.TEST QiTEST~®N 2:
I am the owner of both TEMO Sunrooms & Exteriors and the building at 2905 Country
Drive. We aze a residential building contractor and sell sunrooms and room additions as
well as siding, windows, roofing and basement finishing systems. A significant dip in
residential construction sales over the last yeaz has greatly affected our sunroom business,
so we have now started selling gazebos as a lower priced option to homeowners. As my
building serves as a showroom for our products, I would like to build a gazebo in the
corner of my pazking lot to help people visualize exactly what gazebos aze and what they
look like. People like to see, touch and feel a product before they buy or consider buying.
The gazebo itself is esthetically a nice looking building and would be a nice compliment
to our showroom and parking lot.
We are a destination showroom and never get more then a couple customers at any one
time. We may get a dozen customers in any busy week, so we have no negative impact
on traffic. Our parking lot has 74 parking spaces and I only have 14 employees so we
have plenty of room. Even after losing four parking spaces for the gazebo and four
spaces for the garage, I'll still have 66 parking spaces available.
The proposed garage would be used primarily for much needed storage so items would
not be placed in the back of our building parking lot. It not only looks unsightly
sometimes but attracts kids looking through it for any thing valuable. Even though I have
a fence around the back of my property, it would be a major improvement over what I
have now. The loss of the four parking spaces this would cause will have no negative
impact on our current parking situation. The new garage design would mirror the
existing gazage that is currently on the back of our property.
Neither of these requested improvements would detract from the use of the neighboring
properties or the character of the neighborhood and require no changes to current
drainage designs. Additionally, there would be no impact on any public facilities
"_-1sl~c L,~:~ c~:b~~t~t r~~~r _'v~ ~~ Tn~, ,^r,~:t;' X01'• ~;y,~L''i7,~F 1~ ~,n.,~r~,i:~; 5'~r.s~r~m~~~
