MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />APRIL 12, 2007 <br />the interactive wait staff. Capacity would average between 40 and 60 <br />audience members. Entertainment would be family-friendly. <br />Socha raised concerns about parking, suggesting that customers be directed <br />to parking in the back of the building. Dokken reported that on Tuesdays <br />they would have a tour bus bringing customers in. They would be dropped <br />off at the door and the bus then moved until the performance is over. <br />McLaughlin indicated that there is a rear door to the Oops Theater space, <br />and indicated that he would work with the larger tenants to direct their <br />traffic to the back parking lot. <br />Hall asked the cost of tickets. Dokken reported that the cost would be $49 <br />to $59 through Ticketmaster. She noted that the Tuesday matinee was held <br />once per month. Hall asked how Oops would get to know this community <br />marketing the theater to Little Canada. Dokken noted that their previous <br />location was not far from Little Canada, and indicated that the Oops Theater <br />has a following in the Twin Cities. <br />Duray asked about food and beverage service. Joe Vitale, The Little <br />Venetian, reported that food would be prepared at The Little Venetian and <br />brought into the Oops Theater. A temporary bar would be used for <br />beverage service. <br />Duray recommended approval of the Planned Unit Development Permit for <br />a dinner theater/banquet facility at the Market Place Shopping Center as <br />requested by the Oops Theater. <br />Motion seconded by Hall. <br />Motion carried 6 - 0. <br />CUP'S AND The City Planner indicated that Valor Enterprises has three applications <br />TEXT pending before the Planning Commission. These include the following: <br />AMENDMENT- <br />3161-3167 Conditional Use Permit for retail motor vehicle sales lot; <br />SPRUCE Conditional Use Permit for outdoor storage of repairable <br />STREET - motor vehicles and storage containers; <br />VALOR Text Amendment to the City Code increasing the maximum <br />ENTERPRISES number of retail motor vehicle sales licenses (outdoor) <br /> from four (4) to five (5). <br />The Planner indicated that Valor Enterprises has also applied for a Retail <br />Motor Vehicle Sales License (outdoor) and a Motor Vehicle Repair <br />License. <br />14- <br />
