The Planner proposed dynamic signage be allowed as either <br />freestanding or wall signage. However, the City could differentiate if it <br />wanted to. Knudsen stated that he would be inclined to treat both <br />freestanding and wall signage the same. Duray agreed they should be <br />treated the same, pointed out that if problems occur, changes could be made <br />to the Code. <br />Duray asked if the Planner was proposing to limit the percentage of the sign <br />that could be dynamic. The Planner stated that he did not propose that <br />limitation. <br />It was the consensus of the Commission that their comments should be <br />passed on to the Council relative to the proposed sign ordinance <br />amendments without changing the content of the City Planner's report. <br />The City Clerk noted that the time of July 25`h Workshop with the City <br />Council and Planning Commission on the issues of outdoor storage and <br />concept development reviews has been changed to 5:30 p.m. The Clerk <br />indicated that she would email a reminder of the meeting to the <br />Commissioners. <br />Duray recommended that the meeting be adjourned. <br />Motion seconded by Barraclough. <br />Motion carried 6 - 0. <br />There being no fm•ther business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:10 p.m. <br />submitted, <br />Kathy Gla <br />City Clerk <br />-9- <br />
