Please note that Mn/DOT's review of this EAW does
not constitute approval of a regional traffic analysis and is not a specific approval for access or
new roadway improvements. As plans are refined, we would like the opportunity to meet with our
partners and to review the updated information. Mn/DOT's staff has reviewed the document and
has the following comments:
Water Resources:
The site drains to MN/DOT right-of-way, therefore, a MN/DOT Drainage Permit will be required
to ensure that current drainage rates to MN/DOT right-of--way will not be increased. The
drainage permit application must include the following information:
A grading plan showing existing and proposed contours.
Drainage area maps for the proposed project, showing existing and proposed
drainage areas. Any off-site areas that drain to the project area must be included
in the drainage area maps. The direction of flow for each drainage area must be
indicated by avows.
Drainage computations for pre and post construction conditions during 2, 10, 50,
and 100 year rain events.
An electronic copy of computer modeling use for the drainage computations.
For questions regarding these points, please contact Rusty Nereng, MN/DOT Water Resources
Section, at (651) 234-7510.
Permits:
~~~i!ii ~ it 20117
SIT'( UP 1-i"('CI_e ~A~IA!~H
As noted previous, a drainage permit will be required.
