MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 23, 2008 <br />CONSENT Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />AGENDA <br />RESOLUTION NO.2008-4-112 -APPROVING THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br />*APPROVING THE VOUCHERS; <br />*APPROVING THE FIRE DEPARTMENT CONTRACT AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITYADMINISTRATOR TO <br />EXECUTE THE CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY, AND <br />CALLING A WORKSHOP MEETING WITH THE FIRE <br />DEPARTMENT FOR WEDNESDAY, MAY 28, 2008 AT 6:30 P.M. <br />*APPROVAL OFA LEAVE OFABSENCE FOR MATT MALLORY <br />AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITYADMINISTRATOR; <br />*APPROVAL OF AN EXTENSION FOR RICHIE PLACE FINAL <br />PLAT SUBMITTAL REQUIRING SUBMITTAL BYNOVEMBER 12, <br />2008; <br />*APPROVAL OF THE 29TH RIDER AGREEMENT WITH ST. PAUL <br />REGIONAL WATER FOR SKATEBOARD PARKAT THE OLD FIRE <br />BARN SITE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; <br />*CALLING FOR A WORKSHOP MEETING WITH FRATTALONE <br />RECYCLING TO DISCUSS ISSUES RELATIVE TO ECONOMIC <br />DEVELOPMENT AND INTERIM USE PERMIT FOR RECYCLING <br />OPERATION ON JUNE 11, 2008 AT 6:00 P.M. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />COMPRE- The City Planner reported that he has been assembling background <br />HENSIVE demographics and data and putting the City's draft Comprehensive <br />PLAN Plan update in the format required by the Metropolitan Council. This <br />AMENDMENT draft information will be presented to the Planning Commission and the <br />City Council during the May planning cycle. <br />PROPERTY The City Administrator reviewed the Parks & Recreation Director's <br />ACQUISITION report dated April 18, 2008 relative to the development of the skateboard <br />FROM ST. park at the Little Canada Road skating complex and the reconfiguration <br />JOHN'S of this site to locate the skateboard park in the present location of the <br />CHURCH pleasure skating rink and the pleasure skating rink on the south side of the <br /> hockey rink. Additionally, there are plans for a future trail connection <br />18 <br />
