k~? ~~~' <br />~ ~}~ `~~~ <br />Little Canada Park Survey ~, .re ~~ ;- September 28, 2005 <br />~~ <br />~~~~~ ~;. <br />There is a trend in some parks to maintain a larger percentage of the park area in native <br />vegetation (such as prairie grass, wildflowers and wooded areas) rather then mowing and <br />maintaining the entire park area in lawn. These natural landscapes are considered friendlier <br />to the environment, promoting habitat for birds and wildlife and allowing more infiltration of <br />stonnwater. <br />Would you support an effort to maintain more of Little Canada's Parks in native <br />vegetation, if appropriate areas can be identified? <br />Strongly Support Support Do Not Support <br />2. The Watershed District will soon be occupying their new office space on Noel Drive adjacent <br />to Gervais Mill Park.
