MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 26, 2008 <br />*APPROVAL OF PLANS FOR THE SW TRUNK WATERMAIN <br />PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS; <br />*,9DOPTION OF THE ORDINANCE AMENDING LICENSE & FEE <br />SCHEDULE RELATIVE TO CERTAIN LIQUOR LICENSES AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITYADMINISTRATOR TO <br />EXECUTE THE ORDINANCE AMENDMENT ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY; <br />*APPROVING THE CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION FOR THE <br />LODGE AND A UTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (3). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />R-I & I-1 The City Planner indicated that the amendments to the Zoning <br />DISTRICT Code relative to R-1 Zoning District as well as the I-1 Zoning <br />AMENDMENTS District are in final draft form. The next step is to call for a Public <br />Hearing to consider the adoption of these amendments. The Planner <br />indicated that the Council could consider these amendments separately, or <br />call for a Public Hearing to consider the entire Zoning Code <br />recodification. <br />The City Administrator recommended separate public hearings for the <br />amendments to R-1 and I-1 given the moratoriums in place for these two <br />Zoning Districts. Once these amendments are process, the balance of the <br />Zoning Code recodification could be considered. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2008-3-85 -CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />AT THE REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING ONAPRIL 23, 2008 TO <br />CONSIDER AMENDMENTS TO THE R-I ZONING DISTRICT <br />LANGUAGE AND THE I-I ZONING DISTRICT LANGUAGE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (3). <br />Nays (0).
