MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA~ MINNESOTA <br />April 13, 1983 <br />Pursuant to due call and notiee thereof a regular meeting of the Council <br />of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 13th day of <br />April, 1983 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Raymond Hanson chaired the meeting and called it to order at <br />7:30 p.m. and the following were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Nm. Raymond Hanson <br />Councilman Mr. Michael Fahey <br />Councilman Mr. Dennis Forsberg <br />Councilwoman Mrs. Muqs Nardini <br />Councilwoman Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br /> ALSO PRESENT: City Clerk Mr. Joseph Chlebeck <br /> City Engineer Mr. Donald Carley <br /> City Attorney Mr. Thomas Sweeney <br /> Public Works Superint endent Nlr. Roger Glanzer <br /> Recording Secretary hirs. Beverly Jespersen <br />Approval The followinq corrections were made to the minutes of March 23, 1983: <br />ot the <br />Minutes Mrs. Nardini indicated that "control of the propert y" on Paqe 14, <br /> Paragraph 5, should be corrected to rea d "access to the property". <br />Mrs. Nardini indicated that "other city lakes" on Page 22, Paragraph <br />8, should be corrected to read "lakes in other cities". <br />Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-4-142 - APPROVING <br />THS MINUTES OF THE MARCH 23, 1983 <br />COUNCIL MEETING WITH THE OUTLINED <br />CORRECTIONS <br />The foregoinq resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Forsberg. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Fahey, Forsberg, Nardini, Hanson. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 9, Page 156. <br />Hearing: Mayor Hanson opened the public hearing on Improvement 83-7 - watermain <br />Greenbrier and street restoration of Greenbrier Ave. from LaBore Rd. to Co. Rd. D. <br />Watermain This hearing was petitioned by the property owners and was considered <br />valid. It was understood that those property owners not voicing con- <br />cern For or aqainst the improvement will be considered in favor of it. <br />Members of the Council and the City Engineer discussed the improvement <br />with the property owners attending the hearing. They were informed that <br />the cost of the improvement was estimated to be approximately $31.00 <br />a fro~ foot, allowing $6.00 a front foot for the overlay. <br />Page 1 <br />
