MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JUNE 23, 1993 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was held on the 23rd day of June, 1993 in the <br />Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Raymond Hanson chaired and called the meeting to <br />order at 7:30 P.M., and the following members of the <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Raymond Hanson <br />Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Council Member Mr. Steve Morelan <br />Council Member Mr. Bob Pedersen <br />Council Member Mrs. Bev Scalze <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. <br />City Attorney <br />City Planner <br />Cable TV Prod. <br />Recording Sec. <br />MINUTES Mr. LaValle introduced the follc <br />moved its adoption: <br />Mr. Joel Hanson <br />Mr. Tom Sweeney <br />Mr. Steve Grittman <br />Mrs. Jane Boog <br />Mrs. Kathy Glanzer <br />wing resolution and <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-6-184 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br />JUNE 8, 1993 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Hanson. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Hanson, Pedersen, Morelan, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />SIGN The Mayor opened the public hearing to consider a <br />VARIANCE request by Tom Vogt of Gas N Go Superette for a sign <br />GAS N GO height variance. Mr. Vogt is requesting permission to <br />SUPERETTE construct a 20 foot high pylon sign, while Code <br />establishes the maximum height for a pylon sign at 16 <br />feet in this instance. The Mayor pointed out that the <br />Planning Commission has recommended denial of the <br />variance request since there was no hardship present, <br />Page 1 <br />
