MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 24th day of <br />January, 2011 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Council Member Mr. John Keis <br />Council Member Mr. Mike McGraw <br />Council Member Mr. Rick Montour <br />PLANNING COMM: Commissioner Mr. Tom Duray <br />Commissioner Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Commissioner Mr. Tom Fischer <br />Commissioner Ms. Heidi Murphy <br />Commissioner Mr. Chuck Pechmann <br />ABSENT: <br />JANUARY 24, 2011 <br />Council Member Ms. Shelly Boss <br />Comm. Chair Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Commissioner Mr. John Hall <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />CITY PLANNER The purpose of this evening's special meeting is to review candidate <br />INTERVIEWS firms for the City's position of consultant planner. The City Administrator <br />noted that based on the City's Fiscal Policies, Requests for Proposals <br />(RFPs) are recommended to be obtained for consultant services on a five <br />year basis. As a result, the City put together an REP for planning services. <br />In response to that REP, twelve proposals were obtained. These proposals <br />were reviewed and ranked by the City Council, Planning Commission, and <br />the City Administrator. The top ranked four firms were selected for the <br />interviews to be held this evening. These firms are: <br />Bonestroo; <br />Northwest Associated Consultants, the City's current planner; <br />Weber Consulting; <br />WSB Associates, Inc.; and <br />
