MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />APRIL S, 2026 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Workshop meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was convened on the St" day of April, 2026 in the Conference Room of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Tom Fischer called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and the following members of the City <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />ROLL CALL: In attendance were Mayor Fischer, City Council Members Miller, Kwapick and <br />Malone. Absent: none. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Bryce Shearen, Assistant City Administrator Laura. <br />Linehan, and City Clerk/HR Manager Heidi Heller. <br />DISCUSS COUNCIL VACANCY RECRUITMENT PROCESS <br />The City Administrator explained that on March 25, Councilmember Gutierrez resigned from the <br />Council. He reported that the Council accepted their resignation and declared a vacancy on the <br />Council. He stated that tonight's discussion will review the application form, overview of the <br />marketing plan for advertising, discussion of timeline, and overall discussion of the process and <br />interview format. <br />The City Administrator reviewed the proposed timeline for the application due date and additional <br />meetings on May 6 and 20 for application reviews and interviews. The Council discussed interview <br />questions and the process for interviews.
