It is anticipated that after the trails get constructed and we have <br /> been credited for the land we may have possible funds remaining. <br /> Conceptually, the Park Board agrees to the park design. <br /> NorthPoint Development Update <br /> Mr. DeGardner presented the current Master Plan for the NorthPoint Park. He <br /> explained, that phases 1, 2 and 3 are currently in construction. Phase 4 of construction <br /> is what will trigger the neighborhood park. That is when the Park Board will be <br /> reviewing details of the final design elements of the park. This will occur closer to the <br /> fall of 2016 or early 2017. .,... <br /> 6. Recreation Department Update <br /> Mr. DeGardner introduced Ali Lukin-Sobolewski.to the Park Board as the new <br /> Recreation Supervisor that replaced Tanya 1Vlozingo and described her background <br /> and qualifications. <br /> Brian Hronski and Ali Lukin-Sobolewski provided updates on programs and events <br /> that occurred.ovef the winter montlis and early spring months. A print out was given <br /> to Board members fo review on their own. <br /> 7. Parks Department Update <br /> Mr. DeGardner discussed he is gathering information for the City Council on the last <br /> decade of considered park and trail projects that were considered but were not <br /> completed due to lack of funds. For example, Mr. DeGardner describes a trail <br /> segment that is in'need of a completed section near Park Court that spills out onto <br /> Lake Drive by the Marshan Park Building. He has requested WSB Engineering to <br /> provide an engineering and cost analysis on a 8.5 ft. wide paved trail to complete that <br /> gap in the trail segment.. This will make available a current cost analysis on what a <br /> project similar to this would cost for budgeting purposes. <br /> City Council Member Manthey added that he would like to review a list of park and <br /> trail related projects that have been put aside for the last 10 years because of the <br /> economic downfall.
