Dept. of Natural <br />Resources (DNR) <br />The WBL Restoration Assn. & WBL <br />Homeowners’ Assn. reached a settlement <br />agreement with the DNR that imposes a <br />three-year stay on the lawsuit so funds <br />can be appropriated for a Northeast Metro <br />Project. This involves a construction <br />project to connect Northeast cities to the <br />St. Paul Regional Water Service. Lino <br />Lakes is one of seven cities included in <br />the second phase of the project. <br />Jeff The DNR developed cost <br />estimates for augmenting <br />White Bear Lake with surface <br />water. Legislators and <br />augmentation proponents <br />questioned the construction <br />cost estimate, which the DNR <br />revised to $38.4 million.
