Pedestrian trail extensions; and <br /> Improvements to Peltier Lake Drive <br /> <br />The project will be implemented using a phased approach based on preliminary development <br />patterns. The phases and cost per phase are as follows: <br /> <br />Development Phase Cost <br />Phase 1 – Peltier Lake Outlet Improvements $2,248,023 <br />Phase 2 – I-35E Crossing $750,914 <br />Phase 3 – East Side Improvements $639,925 <br />Phase 4 – West Side Improvements $557,491 <br />TOTAL COST $4,196,353 <br /> <br /> <br />Funding for the project will be through surface water management fees, and potential grants <br />from Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD), Minnesota Board Water and Soil Resources <br />(BWSR), and the Public Facilities Authority (PFA). <br /> <br />The Environmental Board recommended approval of the feasibility study with the addition that <br />water quality be improved beyond what is required by permitting and as possible. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Staff is recommending approval of Resolution No. 16-62 Accepting Feasibility Study, NE Area <br />Drainage Study. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />1.
