THE SITE IS CURRENTLY A FARM FIELD LOCATED <br />WEST OF 1-35E, NORTH OF CEDAR STREET, SOUTH OF COMMERCE DRIVE, <br />AND EAST OF 21 ST AVENUE. THE CENTERVILLE/LINO LAKES CITY <br />BOUNDARY IS LOCATED ALONG THE WEST EDGE OF THE SITE. <br />SOILS BORINGS AND A GEO-TECHNICAL REPORT WERE PREPARED BY <br />BRAUN INTERTEC CORPORATION ON MARCH 30, 2016. TWENTY-FIVE (25) <br />STANDARD PENETRATION TEST BORING WERE PERFORMED TO A NOMINAL <br />DEPTH OF 10 THROUGH 25 FEET BELOW EXISTING GRADE. THE BORINGS <br />GENERALLY INDICATED 0.5-FEET TO 2.5 FEET OF TOPSOIL CONSISTING OF <br />SILTY SAND (SM), CLAYEY SAND (SC), SANDY LEAN CLAY (CL) AND LEAN <br />CLAY (CL). BENEATH THE TOPSOIL WAS A MIX OF SAND, SILT AND CLAY, <br />SOME OF WHICH CONTAINS GRAVEL, COBBLES AND BOULDERS. <br />GROUNDWATER WAS ENCOUNTERED IN MOST OF THE SOIL BORINGS FROM A <br />DEPTH OF 3 FEET TO 20 FEET BELOW THE EXISTING GROUND; NO <br />CONSISTENT GROUNDWATER ELEVATION CAN DETERMINED FROM THIS, <br />SUGGESTING PERCHED WATER MAY HAVE BEEN ENCOUNTERED. <br />THE PROJECT IS LOCATED WITHIN RICE CREEK WATERSHED DISTRICT <br />(RCWD).
