CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 16-19 <br />APPROVING FIRST AMENDMENT- JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF LINO LAKES AND THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REGARDING 21st AVENUE STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS AND <br />MAINTENANCE <br />WHEREAS, 21' Avenue between Main Street and a point approximately 1,400 feet <br />north of Main Street is a line road between Lino Lakes and Centerville, with the <br />corporate boundary in the center of the street, as platted; and <br />WHEREAS, The City of Centerville and the City of Lino Lakes paved 21' Avenue <br />between Main Street and a point approximately 1,400 feet north of Main Street pursuant <br />to a Joint Powers Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, the two Cities also desire to enter into a Joint Powers Agreement for the <br />ongoing maintenance of 21' Avenue. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino <br />Lakes that the Joint Powers Agreement with the City of Centerville concerning the <br />ongoing maintenance of 21' Avenue between Main Street and a point approximately <br />1,400 feet north of Main Street. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 11th day of April, 2016. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council <br />Member Manthey and was duly seconded by Council Member Maher <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />a thhey., Maher, Rafferty, Kusterman, Reinert <br />enfollowing voted against same: <br />none <br />ATTEST: <br />i e Bartell, <br />Ju i e City ( ler <br />Jeff Reinert, M6yor <br />
