CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 16-28 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION OF PERMANENT EASEMENTS, <br />WELL NO. 6 PUMP HOUSE IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 16-15 adopted the 14t'' day of March, 2016 the City <br />Council authorized staff to negotiate acquisition of a drainage and utility easement; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes, a Minnesota municipal corporation, acting by and <br />through the City Council, is authorized by law to acquire real estate which is needed for public <br />use or purpose; and <br />WHEREAS, the WSB and Associates, on behalf of the City have reached a settlement on the <br />purchase price of the easement; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />That the acquisition of a permanent drainage and utility easement, as described in Exhibit <br />A, is hereby approved in the amount of $18,000. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 25th day of April, 2016. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Kusterman and was duly seconded by Council Member Maher and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Kusterman, Maher, Manthey, Rafferty, Reinekt <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />ATTEST: <br />e Bartell, City Cler <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
