This trail would also serve as <br />an extension of the Central Anoka County Regional Trail. The information provided on the <br />following pages includes our understanding of and approach to the application; a detailed work <br />plan; a proposed schedule to complete the necessary work by July 15, 2016; a cost breakdown for <br />completing the work; and the experience of key personnel identified to work on the grant. <br />PROJECT UNDERSTANDING <br />The City of Lino Lakes, in partnership with Anoka County, is seeking a proposal to prepare an <br />online application for a multi -use trail along Main Street (CSAH 14) as part of the Metropolitan <br />Council Regional Solicitation under the Multiuse Trails and Bicycle Facilities category. The <br />proposed trail segment is approximately 1.7 miles in length and will extend from Lino Lakes <br />Elementary to the I -35W overpass. Work on the grant will begin immediately upon authorization <br />and will be completed prior to July 15, 2016, so that the city may officially submit the grant. As <br />part of the project, WSB will be required to complete the following as a minimum: <br />• Meet with City of Lino Lakes and Anoka County staff prior to beginning the application. <br />This meeting will cover a number of items including: <br />o Verifying WSB's understanding of the project based on information contained in <br />local, county and regional transportation and park plans <br />o Discussing design considerations and challenges associated with property impacts, <br />wetlands, and roadway crossing <br />o Strategizing how to maximize trail project priority criteria scoring <br />o Verifying the preferred year of construction <br />
