Dept. of Natural <br />Resources (DNR) <br />The WBL Restoration Assn. & WBL <br />Homeowners’ Assn. reached a settlement <br />agreement with the DNR that imposes a <br />three-year stay on the lawsuit so funds <br />can be appropriated for a Northeast Metro <br />Project. This involves a construction <br />project to connect Northeast cities to the <br />St. Paul Regional Water Service. Lino <br />Lakes is one of seven cities included in <br />the second phase of the project. <br />Jeff The DNR developed cost <br />estimates for augmenting <br />White Bear Lake with surface <br />water. Legislators and <br />augmentation proponents <br />questioned the construction <br />cost estimate, which the DNR <br />revised to $38.4 million. The <br />total cost range is $36.5 to <br />$78.2 million. <br />Legion Parking Lot 3/7/16 – Staff was directed to obtain <br />an appraisal for City property <br />Mike Legion wishes to purchase <br />property, but must submit a <br />design to the bank before <br />securing a loan. <br />Location of Veteran’s <br />Memorial <br />6/6/16 – Council was directed to visit <br />potential sites for veteran’s memorial <br /> <br /> <br />The Council agreed that the <br />memorial could be built in <br />conjunction with a new <br />“Veteran’s Memorial Park” <br />south of the new fire <br />station. <br /> <br /> <br />
