Dept. of Natural <br />Resources (DNR) <br />8/25/16 – The NE Metro Water Summit <br />Group met to discuss a draft JPA that <br />would create a coalition of cities to work <br />together as one voice with regards to <br />water supply issues in the northeast metro <br />area. <br />Jeff The group decided it was <br />premature to enter into a <br />collaborative agreement <br />without studies being <br />completed or without knowing <br />what further action will be <br />taken on the WBL lawsuit. <br />Legion Parking Lot 3/7/16 – Staff was directed to obtain <br />an appraisal for City property <br />Mike Legion is securing <br />financing to purchase one <br />acre and plans to submit a <br />design in January 2017 <br />Location of Veteran’s <br />Memorial <br />6/6/16 – Council was directed to visit <br />potential sites for veteran’s memorial <br />Mike <br /> <br />The Council agreed that the <br />memorial could be built in <br />conjunction with a new <br />“Veteran’s Memorial Park” <br />south of the new fire <br />station. <br />Council Chambers HD <br />Equipment Upgrade <br />8/30/16 – Staff initiated the process <br />for upgrading the audio/visual <br />equipment in the Council Chambers <br />and control room <br />Jeff Staff will be meeting with a <br />technical advisor from <br />Alpha Video to discuss <br />upgrades <br /> <br />
