1st Reading: Publication: <br />2nd Reading: Effective: <br /> <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />ORDINANCE NO. 02-16 <br /> <br />AMENDING TITLE 1000, CHAPTER 1002 OF THE LINO LAKES CODE OF <br />ORDINANCES RELATING TO FIRE CODE. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota, does ordain: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Section 1002.02, Subdivision 3, of the Lino Lakes Code of <br />Ordinances be amended as follows: <br /> <br /> 1002.02 DEFINITIONS. <br /> (3) Whenever the term FIRE DEPARTMENT or FIRE DIVISION is used, it <br />shall mean the Centennial Fire District Lino Lakes Public Safety Department – Fire <br />Division. <br />Section 2. That Section 1002.03 of the Lino Lakes Code of Ordinances be <br />amended as follows: <br />1002.03 APPLICATION, ADMINISTRATION AND ENFORCEMENT. <br /> The application, administration and enforcement of the code shall be in <br />accordance with the Minnesota State Fire Code. <br /> (1) The Chief of the Centennial Fire District Public Safety Director, or his/her <br />designee, is authorized to enforce the provisions of the Minnesota State Fire Code and <br />this subchapter. <br /> (2) The Chief of the Centennial Fire District Public Safety Director, or his/her <br />designee, may detail the members of the Fire Public Safety Department as may be <br />necessary to administer and enforce the provisions of this subchapter. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this ____ day of ______, 2016. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing ordinance was introduced by Council <br />Member_____________and was duly seconded by Council Member ___________ and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />The following voted against same: <br />____________________________ <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br />________________________ <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk
