CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 16-49 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A SUMMARY OF <br />ORDINANCE NO. 03-16 FOR PUBLICATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the first and second reading of Ordinance No. 03- <br />16, amending City Code Title 600 relating to Business and Activity Licenses; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 03-16 is lengthy and MN Statute 412.191 provides for a city to <br />publish a summary of an ordinance, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council determines that the summary clearly informs the public of the <br />intent and effect of the ordinance, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the publication in the official newspaper will include a notice that a full printed <br />copy of the ordinance is available at City Hall. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes <br />approves the summary in Attachment A for publication according to state law and the City <br />Charter. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the Lino Lakes this 13th day of June, 2016. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />________________ and was duly seconded by Council Member_____________ and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> <br />The following voted against same: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ___________________________ <br /> Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> ____________________________ <br />Julie Bartell, City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
