CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 1E <br /> <br /> <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Lisa Hogstad-Osterhues, Deputy Clerk <br /> <br />MEETING DATE: June 13, 2016 <br /> <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 16-46, Approving a Peddler License for <br /> Rove Pest Control <br /> <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />A representative from Rove Pest Control, 680 Hale Avenue, Oakdale, MN has submitted <br />a peddler’s license application to the city clerk's office. The company representatives <br />who will be working in Lino Lakes are Mr. Julioangel Gomes, Ms. Melanie Reece, Ms. <br />Mckenna Dutson, Mr. Trevor Asher, Mr. Jarom Tamatoa and Mr. Ryan Fitzner. They <br />plan to travel through Lino Lakes’ neighborhoods going door to door offering Pest <br />Control Services to interested potential clients. <br />The City has received all the necessary forms required to issue this company a license. <br />The Lino Lakes Public Safety Department has performed a background check and <br />indicated no reason to deny the application. <br />The application and all other required information is on file in the city clerk's office for <br />review. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Approve Resolution No. 16-46, approving the issuance of a Peddler License for a six <br />month period contingent on the background checks. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
