CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 1L <br /> <br /> <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Lisa Hogstad-Osterhues, Deputy Clerk <br /> <br />MEETING DATE: June 13, 2016 <br /> <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 16-57, Approving a Peddler License for <br /> Aptive Environmental <br /> <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />A representative from Aptive Environmental, 5251 W 73rd Street Unit B, Edina, MN <br />55344 has submitted a peddler’s license application to the city clerk's office. The <br />company representatives who will be working in Lino Lakes are Colton Jacobs, Jason <br />Beutler, Brandon Pelfrey, Ryan Mcfadyen, Derek Beutler, Mark Jimenez, Dallin Patino, <br />Talor Bringham, Jeffrey Mortimer, Tyler Vance, Caden Neuerburg, George Parsons <br />Bryten Farley, Max Jensen, Samuel Ogles, Payden Hathaway, Elliott Pelfrey and <br />Machuca Porfirio. They plan to travel through Lino Lakes’ neighborhoods going door to <br />door offering Pest Control Services to interested potential clients. <br /> <br />The City has received all the necessary forms required to issue this company a license. <br />The Lino Lakes Public Safety Department has performed a background check and <br />indicated no reason to deny the application. <br /> <br />The application and all other required information is on file in the city clerk's office for <br />review. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Approve Resolution No. 16-57, approving the issuance of a Peddler License for a six <br />month commencing on June 14, 2016 through December 14, 2016. <br /> <br /> <br />
