Hankee, City Engineer <br /> <br />MEETING DATE: October 24, 2016 <br /> <br />TOPIC : Consider Resolution No. 16-137, Adopting Assessments, <br />Individual Property <br /> <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 Vote Required <br /> <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />The City Council is to adopt assessments for properties where they have requested connection to <br />City utilities and have entered into a Petition and Waiver Agreement. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />The property owners have submitted a signed waiver, which waives their rights to a hearing and <br />waives their rights to appeal under the Lino Lake City Charter and/or Minnesota Statute 429 <br />provided that the assessment associated with the improvement is levied against their property, or <br />they have entered into a Performance Contract with the City. We are prepared to adopt the <br />assessment for the following individual properties, which requested connection to city utilities: <br /> <br />- 518 Lilac St <br />- 6180 Ware Rd <br /> <br />The total amount to be assessed is $26,124.00. Attached is a breakdown of the Individual <br />Property assessments. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Approve Resolution 16-137, Adopting Assessments, 2016 Individual Properties which Requested <br />Connection to City Utilities. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />1.
