The number of signs shall be limited to one per building façade that the <br />tenant occupies, and each sign shall be limited to the maximum wall size sign permitted per <br />building façade, the total of which shall not exceed the square footage allowed. <br /> <br />(d) In any multiple occupancy structure qualifying as a mall type shopping center, <br />directory signs shall be permitted for each common public entrance. Each directory sign <br />area shall not exceed a total of 50 square feet and shall be located within 50 feet of the <br />common public entrance being served. The size of individual business identification signing <br />within the directory shall be established during the site plan review process. Attention shall <br />be given to the possible number of tenant or occupancy bays which may be served by the <br />common public entrance for which the directory sign is intended. <br /> <br />The Spirit Hills Center comprehensive sign plan was written in August 2004 and amended in <br />April 2007. The current 2007 sign plan does not allow for wall signs on the south elevation of <br />the building addressed 6505 Ware Road (Rice Creek Animal Hospital). The amendment now <br />allows for wall signage on the south gable. The amendment is consistent with Chapter 1010: <br />Signs ordinance in regards to allowed total wall sign area. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Staff recommends approval of Resolution No. 16-159. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />1.
