<br /> <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 16-161 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 16-85, <br />ESTABLISHING ANNUAL CAPITAL EXPENDITURE <br />BUDGET FOR PURCHASE OF FIRE APPARATUS AND EQUIPMENT <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the adoption of Resolution No. 16-85 allocated $100,000 of the 2017 budget, and <br />annually thereafter, for the replacement of fire equipment and replacement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the intent of the City Council was not met by the adoption of Resolution No 16-85. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by t he City Council of the City of Lino Lakes that <br />the adoption of Resolution No. 16-85 be rescinded; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes that on an <br />annual basis the surplus funds of the General Fund will be reviewed and evaluated and a <br />commitment of fund balance will be considered related to fire capital equipment replacement. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 12th day of December 2016. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />_______________and was duly seconded by Council Member ________________ and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />The following voted against same: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />_______________________________ <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />________________________ <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br /> <br />
