5. ACTION ITEMS <br />A. Century Farms 7t1 Addition <br />This townhome project would complete the townhome built area of Century Farms. This <br />site development was previously reviewed by the Environmental Board and City Council. <br />Therefore this review is to simply look at the two remaining environmental issues: <br />Landscaping and Storm water Pollution Prevention. <br />Landscaping <br />The Prairie Fire Crab is tolerant of rusts and bacterial fire -blight. The proposed Showy <br />Mountain Ash is not and something else should be used. Other species are ok. <br />If sod is designed into the landscape then irrigation is required. <br />Stormwater Management <br />A construction stormwater permit is required for this project as is a stormwater <br />maintenance agreement. <br />Mr. Uhde and Chuck from Plowe Engineering was present to answer any questions from <br />the Environmental Board. ,:,„, ,,, q818888h. <br />Ms. Kaufenberg would like to see in this development the use of native plantings and also <br />with the irrigation the use of the water sensor and also a maintenance plan of such items. <br />Mr. Sullivan asked if the town homes were one story or two story. <br />Mr. Uhde stated that all the town homes are two stories. <br />Mr. Asleson proposed landscape plants (trees and shrubs) are all appropriate plant <br />materials. Native seed mixes for the pond and upland areas must be approved by the city. <br />Recommend a short native mix for the upland area. <br />Mr. Sullivan motioned to forward the century Farms North 7 t Addition plan to the <br />Planning and Zoning Board and City Council with the board's recommendations and <br />comments. It was seconded by Mr. Schwartz. Motioned carried 5-0. <br />6. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />A. MS4 2016 Public Information Summary — Greg Beckius, WSB <br />Mr. Beckius of WSB present a summary of 2016 MS4 activities.
