Page - 35 | 2015 SYSTEM STATEMENT – LINO LAKES REGIONAL PARKS <br />Chain of Lakes-Otter Lake Regional Trail Search Corridor: The regional trail search corridor travels <br />through Centerville and Lino Lakes as it connects Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Park Reserve and Bald <br />Eagle-Otter Lake Regional Park in White Bear Township. A master plan identifying the alignment of the <br />Chain of Lakes-Otter Lake Regional Trail has been approved since adoption of the 2040 Regional <br />Parks Policy Plan. The alignment of the regional trail should be acknowledged in the local <br />comprehensive plan. Anoka County will lead a planning process in the future to determine the <br />alignment of the regional trail. When preparing its comprehensive plan, Lino Lakes should verify <br />whether a master plan has been approved by the Metropolitan Council. If a master plan has been <br />approved, the planned regional trail alignment should be acknowledged in the comprehensive plan. <br />Otherwise, the general search corridor as shown in Figure 2 should be acknowledged in the <br />comprehensive plan. <br />Please contact Anoka County for more information regarding Regional Parks System Components in <br />Lino Lakes.
