CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 16-85 <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING ANNUAL CAPITAL EXPENDITURE <br />BUDGET FOR PURCHASE OF FIRE APPARATUS AND EQUIPMENT <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes City Council appropriates an annual budget amount for the <br />purchase of capital equipment; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has established a Capital Equipment Reserve Fund, which includes reserve <br />funds transferred to the City from Centennial Fire District, for the replacement of capital <br />equipment in the Public Safety Department—Fire Division; and <br />WHEREAS, the Public Safety Director has prepared a fire equipment replacement schedule for <br />vehicles and apparatus through 2032; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that $100,000 per year for fire equipment and <br />apparatus is an adequate amount to maintain the Fire Division fleet, based on current reserve <br />funds designated for the Fire Division. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes that <br />$100,000 is allocated for the 2017 budget and annually thereafter for replacement of fire <br />equipment and apparatus until by Council action this amount is increased or decreased in any <br />budget year. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 8th day of August 2016. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Kusterman and was duly seconded by Council Member Rafferty and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Kusterman, Rafferty, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />Maher <br />(Council Member Manthey abstained fro <br />ATTEST: <br />Bartell, City <br />voting) <br />Jeff Reinert, <br />
