`..- CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 17-07 <br />AUTHORIZING REPORT ON IMPROVEMENTS <br />WEST SHADOW DRIVE AND LAMOTTE AREA IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, Pursuant to Resolution 14-65, adopted June 23, 2014, the City Council approved <br />the 2015-2019 5 -Year Street Reconstruction Plan, which identified the proposed timeline for <br />reconstruction of certain streets within the City; and <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to update the plan and consider the improvement of West Shadow <br />Lake Drive (north of Birch Street), Sandpiper Drive, Shadow Court, LaMotte Drive and LaMotte <br />Circle, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds it is in the best interest of the City to determine the <br />necessary improvements and estimated costs for inclusion in the 5 -year Street Reconstruction <br />Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes: <br />That the proposed improvement be referred to WSB and Associates, City Engineer, for study and <br />that they are instructed to report to the council with all convenient speed advising the council in a <br />preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and <br />feasible; whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other <br />improvement; and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 9th day of January, 2017. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Kusterman and was duly seconded by Council Member Manthey and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Kusterman, Manthey, Maher, Rafferty, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />ATTEST: <br />
