CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />�-- RESOLUTION NO. 17-14 <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING ANNUAL APPROPRIATION <br />FOR BEYOND THE YELLOW RIBBON NETWORK <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Network was officially proclaimed a <br />Yellow Ribbon community by the State of Minnesota Yellow Ribbon Action Plan Community; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Yellow Ribbon Network is a comprehensive community program that offers <br />support to military families in need; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council fully supports the efforts of the Beyond the Yellow Ribbon <br />community to build an enduring and sustainable network of support in the Lino Lakes <br />community; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to provide financial support to assist the organization in <br />achieving its mission of connecting military personnel or their families with the help they need; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Yellow Ribbon community remains an active program and reports its activities <br />to the City Council on an annual basis. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes that <br />$500 is allocated to the Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Network in the 2017 budget and annually <br />thereafter until by Council action the funding is rescinded, raised, or reduced. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 13th day of February 2017. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Maher and was duly seconded by Council Member Rafferty and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Maher, Rafferty, Kusterman, Manthey, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />Jeff Reinert, M <br />ATTEST: <br />Bartell, City 1 lerk <br />.376 <br />
