CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 17-19 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING LINO LAKES LIONS CLUB <br />APPLICATION FOR A 1- 4 DAY TEMPORARY ON -SALE <br />LIQUOR LICENSE APPLICATION <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 340A, allows the city council to issue a temporary <br />on -sale liquor license to a non-profit organization in connection with a social event sponsored by <br />the licensee and held within the city limits; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Lions Club has submitted an application for a temporary on -sale <br />liquor license; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Lions Club has paid the required fee for these permits, and <br />WHEREAS, the Alcohol & Gambling Enforcement Division requires that the applications be <br />approved by the City of Lino Lakes City Council before submitting for approval; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, <br />Minnesota: <br />That the Lino Lakes City Council hereby approves the request of the Lino Lakes Lions Club for <br />a temporary on -sale liquor license to be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on September 16, <br />2017. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 13th day of March, 2017. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Maher and was duly seconded by Council Member Ra ferty and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Maher, Rafferty, Kusterman, Manthey, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />ATTEST: <br />e Bartell, CiClerk <br />
