CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 1D <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Lisa Hogstad-Osterhues, Deputy Clerk <br />MEETING DATE: April 24, 2017 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 17-30, Approving a Peddler License for <br />Edward Jones Financial <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />BACKGROUND <br />A representative from Edward Jones Financial, 9304 Lexington Avenue North, Circle <br />Pines, MN 55014, has submitted a peddler's license application to the City Clerk's office. <br />The company representative who would be working in Lino Lakes is Mr. Daniel Babbitt, <br />Financial Advisor. He plans to travel through the Lino Lakes' neighborhoods going door <br />to door offering financial services to interested potential clients. <br />The City has received all the necessary forms required to issue this company a license and <br />indicates no reason to deny the application. <br />The application and all other required information is on file in the City Clerk's office for <br />review. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Approve Resolution No. 17-30, Approving the issuance of a Peddler License for a six <br />month period starting April 25, 2017 through October 25, 2017. <br />
