AGENDA ITEM NO. 10 <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR Fire Chief, Milo Bennett <br />DATE January 19, 1996 <br />TOPIC Consideration of Resolution No. 96 - 09 <br />Amending the Centennial Fire District <br />Joint Powers Agreement <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Centennial Fire District Joint Powers Agreement II has remained <br />unchanged since it was instituted on January 1, 1990. Four sections of the <br />Agreement have become difficult to administer. I have discussed these <br />sections with the City Council at their last work session and have drafted <br />Resolution No. 96 - 09 which would alleviate all of concerns. I recommend <br />that the City Council adopt this resolution. <br />OPTIONS <br />1. Adopt Resolution No. 96 - 09 as presented. <br />2. Return matter to staff for further information. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Option No. 1 <br />
