TKDA <br />TOPIC <br />January 18. 1998 <br />Consideration of Resolution No. 96-04 <br />Ordering the Improvement, Approving the Plans <br />and Specifications and Ordering Advertisement for Bids <br />for the Fourth Avenue Trunk Utility ,improvements <br />BACKGROUND: <br />This project involves the extension of trunk sanitary sewer and watermain along Fourth <br />Avenue and Lilac Street to serve the Behm's Century Farm Subdivision. The plans and <br />specifications for this project were ordered by the City Council on August 14, 1995. <br />Construction of these improvements is scheduled to begin in the Spring of 1996. The <br />contract for this project will be awarded only after the developer of this subdivision <br />submits adequate financial security for the assessments to pay for the improvements. <br />A copy of the Advertisement for Bids has been sent to the Quad Press for publication <br />contingent upon the City Council's action. <br />OF flONS: <br />1. Approve Resolution No. 96-04 Ordering the Improvement, Approving the Plans <br />and Specifications and Ordering Advertisement for Bids for the Fourth Avenue <br />Trunk Utility improvements. <br />2. Order the improvement but delay action on the Plans and Specifications pending <br />further review by staff. <br />3.
