TKDA <br />DATE February. 9. 1996 <br />TOPIC <br />Consideration of Resolution No. 96-21 <br />Receive Feasibility Report and Call a Public Nearing <br />for Birch Street Trunk Watermain Improvements <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Lino Lakes City Council ordered the preparation of this Feasibility Report at the <br />regular meeting on January 22, 1996. This report addresses the need for trunk <br />watermain extensions to the southeast quadrant of I-35E/Main Street to support <br />development of businesses in that area. <br />In accordance with Minnesota State Statute Section 429 and the Lino Lakes City <br />Charter, the Feasibility Report is to be received by the City Council and a pudic hearing <br />scheduled. The public hearing will be held at the City Council meeting scheduled for <br />March 25, 1996. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Approve Resolution No. 96-21 <br />2. Return the matter to staff for further review. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Option No. 1 - Approve Resolution No. 96-21 Receiving the Feasibility Report for the <br />Birch Street Trunk Waterman Improvements and call a Public Hearing <br />to be held March 25, 1996. <br />
