Council Member <br />adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-29 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, CITY ADMINISTRATOR AND <br />CITY ATTORNEY TO SIGN THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING. <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation has identified certain routes in <br />the State with functional classification that should not be under State jurisdiction; <br />AND WHEREAS, a nonbinding Memorandum of Understanding has been prepared by <br />the Minnesota Department of Transportation regarding the possible tumback of Trunk <br />Highway 49, from Lilac Street to Fourth Avenue, to the City and which is attached <br />hereto, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Mayor, City Administrator, and City Attorney are hereby authorized to sign said <br />Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Lino Lakes and the Minnesota <br />Department of Transportation. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 11th day of March, 1996. <br />John L.
