The license will expire on June 1, 1996 and they have requested
that their gambling license be renewed.
The Centennial Fire Relief Association has been conducting lawful gambling in the City
of Lino Lakes since the lawful gambling laws were enacted. They
have purchased bicycles for police patrol in addition to setting aside money for the
purchase of equipment for the Centennial Fire District. During the past year, money has
been set aside to upgrade some traffic signs in this community. All of the proceeds from
lawful gambling conducted by the Centennial Fire Relief Association are returned to the
community.
Mrs. Anderson recommended that the City Council adopt a motion approving the renewal
of the gambling license for the Centennial Fire Relief Association.
Council Member Lyden's moved to adopt Mrs. Anderson's recommendation.
