JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br />This agreement made this 11th day of April, 1996, by and between the City of <br />Centerville, a Municipal corporation under the laws of the State of Minnesota, and the <br />City of Lino Lakes, a Municipal corporation under the laws of the State of Minnesota, <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, the City of Centerville and the City of Lino Lakes desire to share <br />public works services for the following listed projects: Street sweeping and hauling of <br />sweepings. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Centerville and the City of Lino Lakes are willing to <br />cooperate regarding the aforementioned projects; and, <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statues 471.59 allow the cities of Centerville and Lino <br />Lakes to enter into a Joint Powers Agreement to cooperatively share public works <br />services. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the authority granted by MN Statute 471.59, it <br />is agreed between the parties as follows: <br />1. That the City of Centerville will perform the following public works projects for <br />the City of Lino Lakes: Haul sweepings from Lino Lakes sweeper, when Lino <br />Lakes is sweeping Lino Lakes streets. (Rate of hours exchanged will be: one hour <br />sweeper time equals 1.18 hours and truck hauling time in return (example: 40 hours <br />hauling time is equal to 34 hours of return sweeping time). <br />
